Last week was a big news day for Sony as they revealed major details on the PlayStation 5 console during a live stream to debut the console. We saw beloved franchises such as Call of Duty, Resident Evil, and more. Along with these was the newest addition to the horror pizza restaurant themed franchise that is Five Nights at Freddy’s.
PlayStation’s website describes the game by saying:

The newest game, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is already gaining a lot of support from the community coming off the coattails of the VR-release Help Wanted. A lot of support from both the players, and of course the theorists, is already showing itself while trying to understand this complex story. This series last left off with the player being a beta tester for a game within the Freddy Fazbear universe, and if lead down the wrong path by malicious code was trapped inside the game forever.
With not even two minutes of footage, there is much to speculate as the internet fandom has shown. Who is Gregory? Who is this woman calling to him? Whose red glaring eyes are those? Who is this voice trying to protect Gregory? There is no short of possible answers on websites like Reddit and YouTube. Theories such as a literal explanation for the title, new animatronics, to multiple ideas on what exactly it is the player will be doing in this game. Nearly every single frame of this trailer has been analyzed by fans and theorists for answers.
None will come until the game’s future release on the upcoming PlayStation 5.
Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach currently has no release date, and will be on both PlayStation 5 and PC. The PlayStation 5 is currently available for pre-order for 399.99 for the digital version and 499.99 for a disk-compatible version. The PlayStation 5 is set to release on November 12th of this year. The game will come to other consoles three months after release.
